This year’s Prophetic Night produced lots of excitement in addition to its spiritual impact. Ambassadors, Ministers of the Gospel, and a hungry crowd thronged into REMI Fellowship Centre, Molyko-Buea, Cameroon on Sat. 15 June, 2013, as from 8 p.m., in the flow of the kind of praise/worship that announce REMI 10th Anniversary. Earlier in the day, the usual Enlarged COLE meeting gathered about 40 leaders of REMI Worldwide from Bamenda, Yaounde, Douala, Limbe and Buea.
Coordinated by Amb. MAMFOR Seraphine and being transmitted to about the same size of population outside the hall using a screen, the 200-man participants were thrilled with exhortations, intercessions, testimonies and special numbers that culminated with the Prophetic Message from Rev. John at 3:15 a.m. There was a rare move of power for deliverance, prophecy and healing. He sorted out people in and out of the hall through word of knowledge and healed them. Such was the case of a young man he described his dressing and where he was sitting outside; and when he walked in the man of God healed him from an abnormality on his private part (which he confirmed).
Reading from 2Kings 11:1 & Ezra 6:8, the Prophet declared a dethrone of “Athaliah” in the Ambassadors’ lives so that they can take their throne in “OUR YEAR OF ROYAL CONNECTIONS”. He said the 3 months that follow will be confrontation with those destiny destroyers; but after that there will be real royalty. He shared the Lord’s Supper; announced Glorious Conference on Mon. 11 to Sat.16 Nov. in Buea; ordination of 10 Ambassadors on the last day in Wonjia (see list below); dedication of REMI Retreat Centre (still pending completion). Placed under the banner “10 years of faithfulness and fruitfulness”, REMI Anniversary was greatly felt with the distribution of quality magazines printed in Belgium, a soul-searching book written by Pas. John NUMBE entitled “FAQs-REMI Doctrinal Guide” and stickers in English and French.
Douala Prophetic Night held on Fri. 21 June, 5:30-9:30 p.m. with over 40 participants; though the stress of power cut for 5 days. Using a generator, exhortations, testimonies and special numbers set a pace for Rev. John to come up once more with the prophetic word. Pas. TATOH Chantal and Pas. Consty really filled-in the gab as Pas. Kenneth was on call out of town. We take this opportunity to apologise to Ambassadors in Yaounde for aborting the programme that was to follow there. Logistics problems caused it; but it won’t happen next year in Jesus’ name.
